On the flip side, I do know a few adults for whom a diagnosis and medication have helped them tremendously in our linear, conformity-driven culture.

It’s so much easier to just give someone a pill than it is to find out what is really going on and why certain symptoms are present. I think I could be diagnosed as such because there is always a “party going on in my brain” as I like to call it…but what if that is the source of my creativity? Do I really want to medicate that? Good thoughts here, T!
