What is coaching – and a great offer!

If we end up chatting on the street, chances are pretty good I will tell you all about coaching. Especially if I’m fresh from class – I’m especially fired up then. This coaching is POWERFUL stuff!

I am presenting pursuing the requirements to be certified with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). They are the gold standard for professional coaches and have rigorous standards before granting credentials to a coach.

Presently, I am working on the first certification (ACC) and then next semester, the advance certification (PCC).

What is coaching? It’s easiest to say first what it is not. It is NOT counseling and it is not therapy.

What it is this – a partnership between coach and client. The client’s agenda is the agenda. That agenda might be to become a better parent, launch a business or figure out what to do after retirement.

As I coach, I may also help people heal from fibromyalgia or other chronic pain conditions – if they so desire. (Yes, it is possible!)

My job is to partner with you for your success, listen fully, ask powerful questions and help you discover the brilliant wisdom that’s in your soul. I am totally committed to YOUR success.

I am receiving coaching as I learn to become an effective coach and I’m telling you…IT IS LIFE CHANGING.

I’ll be spending the next few posts writing about coaching and I hope you catch the fever!

And on that note – if you are interested in being one of my first official clients, give me a shout! I am offering some amazing deals. The first Discovery Session is always on my dime. That allows both of us to see if we’re a good fit for each other.

I am available over Skype, FaceTime or Phone. And of course, if you’re in Prescott, we can meet face to face. (When we are back visiting in Montana, that is an option for there also.)

In the meanwhile, stay tuned for more about coaching!
